A free, online trainer for bending notes on the 10-hole diatonic harmonica. It listens through your microphone, shows how far your note has bent, and tells you what to fix after every attempt. There's nothing to install and no account, and your audio never leaves your device.
1
Pick your key
Look at the top cover of your harmonica. The key is stamped there, usually as a single letter like C or A. Choose it under Step 1. Every key is supported, plus Low D, Low E, Low F, Low G and High G.
Just starting out? A C or D harmonica is the easiest place to learn bending.
2
Choose a bend
Open Step 2 to see the hole map. Each hole shows its blow note on top and its draw note underneath, with the bends you can play from it. Tap one to practice it. Overblows and overdraws are there too for advanced players.
New to bending? Start with the 4 draw half step. It's the one most people get first.
3
Play and watch the gauge
Press Start listening and allow the microphone. Play the natural note, then bend it down until the gauge and the pitch trace settle in the green band. Hold it, let go, and read the tip for what to adjust.
Turn headphones off and hold the harmonica a few inches from the mic.
Ready to try your first bend?
Pick your key and a bend, and the trainer will show you exactly how far your note moved.
